The New England Patriots came out today in their season opener and fell flat on their face. Initially, they came out strong, and jumped out to an early lead, but it quickly became a lopsided contest in the second half.

Miami totaled 361 yards of offense for the game, while the Patriots only managed 315 yards. It was a tale of two halves, as the Patriots outscored the Dolphins by 10 in the first, while Miami turned around and went up 23 in the second half. There weren’t many positives to take away from this one, so unfortunately, this may be a very depressing piece.
