The Patriot Way: New England Patriots News From Around The Web

Hello, and welcome to another edition of ‘The Patriot Way’, your number one source to New England Patriots news and analysis from around the web.

After Tommy Kelly was released on Sunday, some people thought he could potentially return to the Patriots at a lower salary once the season began. But he has now signed a one-year deal with the Cardinals, so that dream won’t materialize.

Kevin Boilard of Bleacher Report previews tonight’s game against the Giants.

Malcolm Butler has been one of, if not the biggest surprise of camp, and we are not the only ones he is impressing. Here is what Darrelle Revis had to say on the rookie: (From Doug Kyed of NESN)

“He’s stepped up to the plate. Every challenge the coaches been asking him to do, he’s stepped up, and now he’s taking reps with the first team. That’s pretty good. That’s pretty good. We just gotta continue to keep on pushing him as a team, and as players and as coaches to continue to bring that potential out even more, so he can get better and better each week.”

I know you probably can’t get enough coverage on Logan Mankins right now, so Mike Reiss has you covered with a few more thoughts on the former Patriots offensive guard.

And finally from Reiss once again, a nice film review of new Patriots tight end Tim Wright.
