Hello, and welcome to another edition of ‘The Patriot Way’, your number one source to New England Patriots news from around the web.
Here is Mike Reiss’ day 19 camp report.
Yesterday was a pretty uneventful practice for the Pats, except for three big developments on the injury front. First off, Rob Gronkowski began practicing in team drills for the first time, and while he is still not being hit, this shows he is moving along in his recovery. Secondly, Aaron Dobson and Dominique Easley, two guys that can really help elevate the play of the Patriots, practiced with the team for the first time in camp. Hopefully this means they will be ready for opening day in Miami.
From Jason Wolf of the USA Today, a nice story on the Eagles preparing for intense practice sessions with the Pats.
And finally, Albert Breer of NFL.com gives his Patriots camp report, with a focus on the defense. This is a talented unit, and expectations are as high as they have ever been for the Patriots. It will be fun to see how it all pans out.
