Additional Thoughts From New England Patriots Loss To Redskins

Shortly after the conclusion of yesterday’s preseason opener, I posted my five initial takeaways from the game. But as always, you can never have enough analysis on the New England Patriots, even if it is preseason. Obviously starting out the year losing by 17 points is not ideal, but let’s remember this was not only a preseason contest, but most of the Pats’ starters did not even suit up.

Next week, Tom Brady and company will be facing off with the Philadelphia Eagles, and I guarantee we will see a bit of the starters in that game. Then we can really begin to form our own opinions on how this year’s squad looks.
