Brady Quinn Visits The New England Patriots

Earlier this week, the New England Patriots brought in quarterback Brady Quinn for a workout. Some people are reading into this way too much, thinking for some reason it may speak to how Bill Belichick views Ryan Mallett, or Jimmy Garoppolo.

But I think it is just Belichick being Belichick, and checking out all possible options in case an emergency situation arises. The Patriots have possibly the best quarterback depth in the NFL, so they shouldn’t be worried about adding another signal caller.

Quinn played four seasons in the NFL, playing three seasons in Cleveland, and one in Kansas City. He never lived up to his 22nd overall pick expectations (hello, Johnny Manziel), and ultimately flunked out of the league.

He totaled 3,043 passing yards, 12 touchdowns, and 17 interceptions in 24 games played.
