Former Panthers’ running back Tyler Gaffney was picked up by the Patriots yesterday. Carolina was trying to “sneak” Gaffney through waivers, in an effort to retain him for the 2015 season. However Bill Belichick decided to jump at the chance to add depth for the future. Gaffney recently suffered a season ending lower body injury.
Kevin O’Connor over at ‘Pats Pulpit’ gives his thoughts on New England’s first weekend of camp. Justin Jones is a giant tight end, but according to O’Connor, he needs a lot of work. Perhaps Jones can contribute to the team in the future.
CBS Sports analyst Pat Kirwan shares what he saw at Pats’ camp. Man, based off of what everyone has said who has visited camp, I think this year could be special for New England. Of course, there is a long way to go, but I’m getting excited.
