Hello, and welcome to another edition of ‘The Patriot Way’, your number one source to New England Patriots news from around the web.
Mike Reiss of ESPN Boston makes a few bold predictions before the Patriots open up camp. He singles out Chandler Jones as a candidate to be among the league leaders in sacks, saying that he could possibly collect over 15 sacks in 2014. That’s very bold, but it is a very possible prediction. Jones is a talented young player, and with another year of experience under his belt, you never know how far he could go.
Rob Gronkowski not only expects to be on the field for the Pats’ season opener, but also play the entire 2014 season. This would be great, but it is more important to have him healthy for the postseason. Without him in the playoffs, it will be very hard for New England to advance. We will see how his recovery is going once training camp begins in a few days.
Not much news to report other than that, so here are two social media posts from Rob Gronkowski, and Chandler Jones, both obviously excited to get back to work.
