The Patriot Way-New England Patriots News From Around The Web

Hello, and welcome to another edition of ‘The Patriot Way’, your number one source to Patriots news from around the web.

Robert Kraft says Bill Belichick likes ‘Thursday Night Football’, and would gladly take more than one per year. This is typical Bill Belichick. He loves gaining an edge on the opponent, and because he is so good at preparing his team, a short week doesn’t affect the Patriots nearly as much as other teams around the league.

Mike Reiss takes a stab at projecting the Patriots roster as we move towards training camp. No surprises from Reiss here. Unless something drastic happens over the next month, I think the roster is pretty straightforward for this Patriots team.

A lawyer for the Patriots cleared the air on Bill Belichick’s text messages with Aaron Hernandez, saying that 34 texts were handed over, not 33 pages of texts.

The Patriots have re-signed Maine wide receiver Derrick Johnson in an effort to fill the roster before camp begins.

And finally, James Christensen of Bleacher Report breaks down the fantasy outlooks for each of the offensive stars in New England. Not surprisingly, he is not high on any Pats player, save for Brady. The Patriots generally don’t have many fantasy stars due to their offensive system.
