2014 NFL MVP Odds: Peyton Manning Favored To Repeat

Bovada has released their initial NFL MVP odds for this 2014 season, and surprise, surprise, Peyton Manning is at the top of the list. Tom Brady checks in at fourth, while Drew Brees is the runner up to Manning. Brady’s teammate, Rob Gronkowski, has 100/1 odds as of right now.

It is interesting that the first 11 guys on this list are quarterbacks. I think that speaks to how valuable these players are to their teams, especially in this age of the aerial assault. Quarterbacks are the most important players on each team, so it makes sense that they would be the favorites to take home the most valuable player award.

I don’t like Peyton, but I think there is a good chance he will repeat as MVP in 2014-15. He has always been about the numbers, so why not give him another trophy. Brady likes wins, and rings. Let’s keep it that way.
