The Patriot Way-New England Patriots News From Around The Web

Hello, and welcome to another edition of ‘The Patriot Way’, your number one source to New England Patriots news and analysis from around the web.

Mike Reiss of ESPN Boston passes along a few quotes from safety Devin McCourty, who spoke on the ‘Brian Kenny Show’ earlier this past week. Here is a nice quote on Darrell Revis adjusting to life as a Patriot:

“I think the only real adjustment for him is just learning a system. He’s a guy who has been carrying himself great throughout his whole career. I don’t think it’s a huge adjustment of him having to get used to the way we do things. I think it’s more scheme things, terminology, just getting used to hearing everything for the first time in a new system. A lot of stuff when it comes to football, he knows. He’s a very smart player. It’s just trying to talk the same language as everybody else, how we describe things and how we talk about things.”

A few days ago the New England Patriots released wide receiver Reggie Dunn, and the roster is back down to 89 players.

And finally, here is a nice piece from Richard Hill of ‘Pats Pulpit’. Hill talks about the impact that former Patriots offensive tackle Matt Light had in New England.
