NFL Network continued its countdown of the top 100 players in the NFL yesterday, and the first Patriot has finally cracked the list. Tight end Rob Gronkowski checked in at 41, which is 16 spots higher than he was last year.
Dominique Easley, the Patriots first round pick, was the star of Jason Garrett‘s football camp at Princeton this past weekend. Easley actually attended this camp five years ago as a participant, where he won Garrett’s tournament, just like he did this past Saturday.
Offensive lineman R.J. Mattes has been released by the team. This now leaves the Patriots roster at 89 players, which is one shy of the limit.
Here you go, for the first time ever, Darrelle Revis is in a New England Patriots uniform. As Doug Kyed notes, this probably makes Jets fans everywhere sick to their stomach. But I really don’t care. WE GOT REVIS, BABY.
