Hello, and welcome to another edition of ‘The Patriot Way’, your number one source to Pats news and analysis from around the web.
The ESPN Boston crew play the ‘pass or sign’ game, dissecting current free agents who may land in New England. The tight end position is in dire need of some help, and there are two solid guys who could come in and provide a boost for the Patriots. Between Dustin Keller and Jermichael Finley, I would prefer Finley, assuming he is healthy. Both of these guys are coming off of major injuries in 2013, so it remains to be seen if they can actually be productive on a football field.
Josh McDaniels, offensive coordinator for the Pats, thinks that Tom Brady is still improving. This is a scary notion for the rest of the league, as I still think Brady is the best quarterback in the league.
The Patriots held their OTA’s last week without any numbers on the player’s jerseys, which is something that only they have done thus far in 2014. This move is something that has Bill Belichick’s imprint all over it. And I think it is a terrific thing to do, as it really emphasis a team bonding spirit.
