This August, the Patriots and the Redskins will be participating in three joint practices. Bill Belichick likes doing this type of practice with preseason opponents, and I think this meeting with Washington will be extremely beneficial for New England. Their defense will get to see what an explosive offense looks like, and while the Skins’ secondary struggled last year, it may serve as a fine tune-up for Tom Brady and company.
Bleacher Report’s Sterling Xie ranks the top offseason priorities for New England. I agree with his assessment of the second year wideouts, as those guys could be the difference between a Super Bowl title, and another early playoff exit. Aaron Dobson has the tools needed to become a good receiver in this league, now he just needs to develop them.
