In the days following the conclusion of the NFL draft, a lot of reports surface regarding the signing of undrafted free agents. That was the case once again with the Patriots, and now these players that were rumored to have signed in New England, are officially with the team.

The Pats announced yesterday that four more undrafted rookies are now officially Patriots:

The New England Patriots have officially signed four free agents: long snapper Tyler Ott, linebackers James Morris and Darius Fleming, and defensive back Jeremy Deering.
The two linebackers will definitely be fighting for roster spots this year, as the current depth at linebacker for the Pats is pretty weak. Obviously them making the team is far from a lock, but I still feel like they will have a fighting chance.
As for Deering, he is going to have a tough time breaking into this secondary. New England may boast the best group of cornerbacks in football, which will make life very tough for Deering. However he is a solid young player, so I wouldn’t count him out just yet.
