With the NFL draft officially over, we now begin to turn our attention to the offseason programs put together by each team in the league. As reported by Mike Reiss over at ESPN Boston, the dates have been announced for the Pats activities.
Organized team activities
Week 1: May 27, 29, 30
Week 2: June 2, 3, 5
Week 3: June 9, 10, 12, 13
Mandatory full-team minicamp
So the new rookies in Foxboro will not have much time to re-group before hitting the field, as the first OTA’s are scheduled for May 27th. Of course all of this leads up to training camp later in the summer, where we will really begin to see how this team is shaping up for the 2014 season. The best part about training camp is not just being able to see how the rookies are doing, but we also want to know how other players improved over the offseason, and how this team generally fits together on the field.
Mark the calender Pats fans, football is actually still alive and well, and soon enough we will see our Patriots back on the field.
