After Andre Johnson made a comment saying that he doesn’t know if Houston is still the place for him, Patriots fans all over the world (including myself), have been dreaming about the possibility of Tom Brady tossing Johnson the football in 2014. However John McClain of the Houston Chronicle claims something like this won’t happen.
Andre Johnson isn’t going anywhere. He won’t get traded. He isn’t retiring. They’ll get it worked out with AJ. They always do.

Obviously McClain knows a lot more about this situation than I do, but I can’t help think about where Johnson is coming from. This dude has been arguably the best receiver in the NFL over the last 10 years, and what has he been rewarded with? Absolutely nothing. And now he is facing the prospect of playing next year with a rookie who was drafted in the fourth round. I am not knocking Tom Savage, but Johnson deserves better.
Deep down in my heart I don’t think Johnson will end up in Foxboro, but one can still hope.
