In addition to the murder charge of Odin Lloyd from last June, former Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez has now been indicted for a double-murder in Boston, that occurred back in 2012. From My Fox Boston:
Former New England Patriot Aaron Hernandez has been indicted on two counts of first degree murder in a 2012 homicide that took place in Boston.
Hernandez was also indicted on three counts of armed assault with intent to murder and one count assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
Hernandez’s attorneys later released this statement:
“It is one thing to make allegations at a press conference, and another thing to prove them in a courtroom. Unlike theDistrictt Attorney, we are not going to try this case in the media. Under our system of justice, Aaron Hernandez is innocent of these charges, and he looks forward to his day in court.”
This continues the chilling story of Hernandez, and his fall from glory in New England, which began last June when police began investigating him in a case involving the murder of Lloyd.
