The New England Patriots have been extremely active thus far in this undrafted free agent frenzy, which is a common trait that coach Bill Belichick has showed in years past.

According to nepatriotsdraft.com, the Pats have signed four more undrafted guys, two on the defensive side, and two on the offensive side.

They have signed defensive lineman Deylan Buntyn out of North Carolina State, linebacker Deontae Skinner from Mississippi State, running back Stephen Houston out of Indiana, and tight end Asa Watson, who is also from North Carolina State.

The Patriots are finally adding some depth to the tight end position, although I think we all were hoping they would be doing it with much better talent. However Asa Watson is the younger brother of Ben Watson, who had a productive couple of years with Tom Brady and the Patriots. Between him and Justin Jones (and maybe Dustin Keller?), the Pats may be able to get through the 2014 season with some decent production at tight end. And of course, there is a guy that goes by the name of Gronkowski that should be on the field this year.

Justin Jones and Stephen Houston the best prospects so far on offense. I’m worried about the depth chart at LB, tbey should add a couple of free agents (not rookies) to let them compete in training camp and see what happens.
