Today, all the editors of NFL sites here on FanSided put together a mock draft in advance of tomorrow’s first round. (To find analysis on each pick, simply click on the editor who made that particular selection).

I made the pick for the Patriots, and if you have been reading this site throughout the offseason, you would know that me picking Jace Amaro is not a surprise. I am a huge fan of Amaro, not only as a talent, but as a fit for the Patriots.

Amaro may not have the physical skills of someone like Eric Ebron, and while he doesn’t have as much potential as Troy Niklas, I think Amaro could end up being one of the best young tight ends in the game. He doesn’t have awesome speed and quickness, but he knows how to get open, and how to be productive for his offense.

In 2013, Amaro caught 106 balls, amasses 1,352 yards, and reeled in seven touchdowns.
