Welcome to The Patriot Way – New England Patriots News and links from around the web

- Similar to offensive guard, center is a spot the Patriots may look to address later in this years draft.  Drafting a center would allow for competition with incumbent Ryan Wendell, and perhaps even make guard Dan Connolly expendable (provided the prospect could play guard).

- Bill Belichick ran a half marathon on Saturday.  Pretty good time for the 62 year old coach, and certainly better than I could do.

- Christopher Price takes a look at the Patriots schedule from a travel standpoint.   The Patriots will be doing their fair share of travelling this year, and more importantly will be changing time zones more than last year.

- The Patriots are showing interest in a linebacker that some have compared to Patriots linebacker Jamie Collins.  While Kyle Van Noy is not the same athlete that Collins is, he is relentless on the field and was very productive at BYU.  He shows some versatility (a Belichick favorite) and a high football IQ.  I hope this shows that the Patriots are trending towards a more athletic front seven, capable of covering backs and tight ends all across the field.

I think the Psts have a tough. Schedule this year. What with the traveling the will be doing and the time zones they will be going through. They better be in good shape. Hopefully they’ll have a good year. They really did fabulous last year. Go Pats!
