The Pro Bowl is an interesting little event isn’t it?
Before last year, nobody really cared about it anymore, mainly because it had turned into a game of touch football. But changing the format to an unconferenced one helped ratchet up the intensity of the game last year, which helped the event gain a little more attention. Now it looks like things will be changing again, although not for another year.
NFL announces that 2015 Pro Bowl will be played in Arizona the Sunday before the Super Bowl there, but 2016 Pro Bowl will be back in Hawaii

If I were a Pro Bowl NFL player, I wouldn’t really like this change. Based on what the players say, the game being played in Hawaii is part of the fun. Being able to take a vacation to Hawaii after a long season is a big reason why they actually go. But who wants to go to Arizona for a vacation? Probably not too many NFL players. We’ll see how the change affects the game.
