According to Tony Pauline, of draftinsider.net, the Patriots will be meeting with quarterback Logan Thomas, and wide receiver D.J. Coles today.

The Pats have been very interested in quarterbacks as of late, although Thomas may be one that could convert to a different position in the pros. He is extremely athletic, and quite frankly, he wasn’t a great quarterback in college. We will see where he ends up come draft day.

As for Coles, late in the draft, I think Bill Belichick will target wide receivers, because even though he added to Tom Brady‘s receiving corps by signing Julian Edelman and Brandon LaFell, you can always use more receiver depth.

In his his four year career at Virginia Tech, Thomas completed 55.6% of his passes, totaled 9,005 passing yards, and 78 total touchdowns. Coles only played three seasons with the Hokies, catching 64 balls, totaling 869 yards, and nine touchdowns.
