According to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com, quarterback Johnny Manziel was spotted in New England today, and will visit with the team tomorrow.

Obviously Bill Belichick and company aren’t looking to replace Tom Brady, but they have a reputation of checking out every player, even if there is no chance of the team selecting that player. Manziel is expected to come off the board fairly quickly this May, and quarterback is not a position of need for New England, specifically in the first round.
As a player, I am personally a big fan of Manziel. I think he will have success wherever he goes in this league, provided he learns to protect himself when he gets out of the pocket. But for Pats fans, this is probably nothing important, just Belichick doing what Belichick likes to do.
Back in 2012, Manziel became the first freshman to win a Heisman Trophy. He also had an extremely productive two year career at Texas A&M, totaling an astonishing 93 touchdowns in just two years.
