Hello, and welcome to another edition of ‘The Patriot Way’, your number one source to Patriots news and analysis from around the web.
Former Tampa Bay GM Mark Dominik talks about Darrelle Revis. Here is a good quote from Dominik on Darrelle Revis as a person:
“Darrelle is very low maintenance, very down to earth. Not full of himself, a really good dude, soft spoken, but will speak when he feels like he needs to. He’s a great teammate that way. And really, he’s a good man. He comes from a good family, his mother is a wonderful lady, and Darrelle’s a unique person, and I think he doesn’t usually talk much unless he’s provoked. And Darrelle just lets his play talk.”
Jeff Howe of the Boston Herald has a nice piece on Ryan Wendell, and why it was important for them to keep the offensive line intact for the 2014 season. I like Wendell, and I think given the circumstances, it was a solid signing. But I still believe the Pats have to upgrade the interior of the offensive line over the next couple of years.
According to Richard Hill over at Pats Pulpit, this free agency period has been the best in the Bill Belichick era.
Field Yates of ESPN Boston briefly discusses the LeGarrette Blount situation, and if the Pats now need to add another running back to their backfield.
