Lost among the free agency frenzy has been running back LeGarrette Blount. With all of the focus on Darrelle Revis, Julian Edelman, and Brandon Browner, we all seem to have forgotten about the big guy. But I think it would really help the Pats if they re-signed him for the 2014 season, although according to the Baltimore Sun’s Aaron Wilson, New England will have competition if they wish to re-sign him.
The Pittsburgh Steelers have scheduled a visit with New England Patriots veteran free agent running back LeGarrette Blount for Sunday and Monday, according to league sources.
The Ravens also have interest in the running back and are expected to monitor the market for Blount with no visit scheduled for him at this time, according to sources.
Wilson also tweeted that the Pats have been interested in keeping Blount throughout this free agency period.
Patriots have maintained interest in LeGarrette Blount throughout free agent process.

Hopefully this situation plays out in favor of the Patriots, but if one of those two AFC North teams want to overpay Blount, we know Bill Belichick and company will not get into a bidding war.
