According to ESPN Boston’s Mike Reiss, linebacker Dane Fletcher will be visiting the Oakland Raiders tomorrow.

As Reiss mentions, this will be the second visit of free agency for Fletcher, as he went down to Tampa earlier in the week.

Fletcher isn’t a top tier linebacker, but he is a solid player, one that I would like to see New England retain. He was forced into action last season, and he showed that he isn’t just a coverage linebacker. Yes, dropping back in coverage is where he is at his best, but if needed, I think he could be a quality starting linebacker in the NFL. His play on special teams should also not be overlooked, as he played quite well on that unit over the last couple of seasons.

Fletcher has amassed 81 tackles, four sacks, three forced fumbles, and one pick in his short three year career in Foxboro.
