According to Chris Tomasson of the St. Paul Pioneer Press, defensive tackle Letroy Guion has expressed interest in joining the Patriots, and has visited them as well.

Defensive tackle is a huge need for New England, as they are expected to release longtime starter Vince Wilfork any time now. Guion isn’t nearly as talented as Wilfork, but he won’t cost as much, and he may be able to give them decent production. I think the Patriots will really try to bulk up the middle of their defense through the draft, where there are plenty of young talented prospects available. We will see if the Pats decide to aggressively pursue Guion in the coming days.
In his five year career (all with the Vikings), Guion has racked up 90 tackles, five sacks, and two forced fumbles.
