Now that the Pats have snagged Darrelle Revis, they may be in the process of adding another solid cornerback, Brandon Browner.

I think giving Browner a chance is a great idea. He will probably come pretty cheap, and if the Pats give him a one year deal, it is a low risk, high reward type of situation. If he returns to his 2011 form, New England may have the best secondary in football. Darrelle Revis will lock down one side of the field, Browner has shown that he can do fine with the other, and the combination of Alfonzo Dennard, Logan Ryan, and Kyle Arrington in the middle will make it extremely tough to throw against the Patriots. If Browner can’t get back to that elite level he used to be at, then Bill Belichick could just cut him, or bump him down the depth chart.
Either way, I think targeting Browner is a good idea for the Patriots. You have the possibility of creating a ridiculously good man coverage secondary, with very little risk. We will begin to see how things will shake out after Browner completes his visit with New England.
