That is all. The legendary coach was able to sign Darrelle Revis to a one year, $12 million contract today, in what is definitely the biggest free agent signing in Foxboro for quite some time. There had been rumors for the last couple of days that Revis would come to New England, and they apparently were true.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter initially broke the news, and he may have broken twitter among Patriot fans.

This signing is huge, as it not only makes up for the loss of Aqib Talib, but it instantly elevates New England’s secondary to one of the top units in the NFL. Revis is one of, if not the best cover corner in the league, and as Seattle showed, you need top guys like him to win championships in today’s NFL.
Take that Denver.
