Hello, and welcome to another edition of ‘The Patriot Way’, your number one source for Pats news and analysis from around the web.

Mike Reiss has a nice piece comparing Aaron Dobson and Josh Boyce’s 2013 workouts, to Clemson’s Martavis Bryant, and LSU’s Odell Beckham. I liked what I saw from Beckham, but according to most draft analysts, he might not be available by the time the 29th pick rolls around.

Over at Bleacher Report, James Christensen gives us some notes from the NFL Combine, all revolving around the Patriots.

Nick O’Malley, writer at, gives his Scouting Combine takeaways here. O’Malley highlights tight end C.J. Fiedorowicz, and wide receiver Jeff Janis as two possible targets for the Patriots.

Finally, Field Yates of ESPNBoston has a cool story on Brock Vereen, brother of current Patriot Shane Vereen. Here is a nice quote from the younger of the Vereen brothers:

“I think the biggest part of me just wants to hit him. I just can’t wait til we meet on the field.”
