Hello, and welcome to another edition of ‘The Patriot Way’, your number one source for Pats news and analysis from around the web.

The biggest event currently going on in the NFL is the Scouting Combine. The first day of actual workouts was held yesterday, with the offensive line, and tight ends taking center stage. ESPNBoston’s Field Yates has you covered, with his takeaways from Saturday’s workouts. I personally was reassured by the performance that Jace Amaro put on, as I think he could be difference maker for the Pats in 2014.

Yates doesn’t stop there, as he gives us the latest information on former Tampa Bay coach Greg Schiano, and his presence at the Combine in relation to the Patriots, and a possible marriage between the two.

Mark this spreadsheet as one of your bookmarks, because Mike Loyko has done an excellent job at keeping it up to date, and more importantly, filling it with accurate, informative data. The Combine is one of the best tools there is to evaluating potential draft candidates for the Patriots, and Loyko has made it extremely easy to access certain prospects scores, with this terrific spreadsheet system.

Finally, be sure to check out our very own Duncan Day, and his piece on Bill Belichick’s attempt to find solid rookies to integrate into his system.
