NFL Scouting Combine: Complete Scores For The Tight Ends

The tight ends completed their workout at the NFL Scouting Combine earlier today, and it was an overall impressive performance from the group. Shortly after these players finished running the 40 yard dash, I posted a quick piece detailing how each of them fared. 

I was most impressed with Texas Tech’s Jace Amaro, although I will admit that I am biased towards him, because I have felt that he is the best prospect of the bunch (aside from Eric Ebron).

Here is a breakdown of how the top guys did in all of the workouts conducted in Indianapolis (this is from Mike Loyko, who has done an excellent job of charting each player’s scores throughout the combine):

40 yard dash

Jace Amaro: 4.74

Eric Ebron: 4.60

C.J. Fiedorowicz: 4.76

Colt Lyerla: 4.61

Austin Seferian-Jenkins: DNP

Troy Niklas: DNP

Bench Press

Jace Amaro: 28 reps

Eric Ebron: 24 reps

C.J. Fiedorowicz: 25 reps

Colt Lyerla: 15 reps

Austin Seferian-Jenkins: 20 reps

Troy Niklas: 27 reps

3 cone drill

Jace Amaro: 7.42

Eric Ebron: DNP

C.J. Fiedorowicz: 7.10

Colt Lyerla: DNP
