- Not even a week after being surprisingly fired by the Browns, Michael Lombardi is reportedly set to join the Patriots in an advisory role.  To say there are mixed feelings about Lombardi across the league is an understatement, but he and Bill Belichick have experience with eachother and Belichick is clearly the head man in charge, so I see limited downside to this move.

- Christopher price has his thoughts on the Lombardi move.

- Perhaps I was wrong with golf and Belichick and Tom Brady.

- It is always difficult to read too much into this, but the Patriots have the 10th most difficult schedule for 2014.  Teams change so much year to year that the results from the last season are flimsy when projecting forward in most cases.

- As we head towards the combine, there is one player in particular that most “experts” have mocked to the Patriots.  I wouldn’t be upset if he had the flying Elvis on his helmet next year

- Aaron Dobson realizes that he needs to get better this offseason.  If Dobson can continue to improve and become a serious and consistent threat outside the numbers it would improve the Patriots offense tremendously.  More importantly, it would allow the Patriots to fill other holes through free agency and the draft.
