New England Patriots Practice Report: Tom Brady Returns, Giving The Pats Perfect Attendance

The AFC Championship game is only two and a half days away, and after scaring the entire Patriot fan base yesterday, quarterback Tom Brady returned to practice today, giving New England perfect attendance.

Brady commented on the illness that kept him out of yesterday’s practice, saying that “It was nothing. I feel great. Nothing at all.”. This is good news for the Pats, as having their quarterback 100% is the number thing they need this weekend, in order to come out of Denver with a victory. Long snapper Danny Aiken also returned to practice, after dealing with an illness, like Brady.

Rookie wide receivers Aaron Dobson and Kenbrell Thompkins practiced for the second straight day, giving us hope that both will be ready to go this Sunday. Having two outside threats to complement the running game, and the two slot receivers would greatly benefit the New England passing offense, especially if Denver chooses to devote extra resources to stopping the ground game.
