Aaron Dobson Misses Practice Again, Unlikely To Play On Saturday

There were no changes to the Patriots practice report today, as everybody participated, with the exception of rookie wide receiver Aaron Dobson. Dobson re-injured his foot in week 17 versus the Bills, and he has yet to return to the practice field.

Not having Dobson available in this game will definitely hurt the New England passing attack, but I don’t think it will be a huge game changer. Dobson is the best deep threat the Patriots have, but there are a lot of other weapons on this offense, and I am confident that Tom Brady will be able to move the ball effectively, against this Indianapolis Colts defense.

If Tom Brady is given time in the pocket, Julian Edelman and Danny Amendola will find themselves with plenty of balls thrown in their direction, especially if the Pats get the play-action game going. LeGarrette Blount and Stevan Ridley have been lights out on the ground over the last few weeks, and I would expect them to get a lot of carries come Saturday.
