NFL Playoffs: Who Will The Patriots Play In The Divisional Round?

The final two games of Wild-Card weekend will be played today, and the results will finally allow us to begin talking about next weeks’ Pats game, in the divisional round of the playoffs. If the Chargers manage to beat the Bengals, then the Patriots would play the winner of yesterday’s game, the Indianapolis Colts. However if the Bengals win, the Pats will welcome Cincinnati to Foxboro, in what would be a week five rematch. The Chargers and Bengals kick off at 1:05 ET, on CBS.

In other playoff news, because the Saints knocked off the Eagles in last night’s game, they will head to Seattle, where they recently lost by a score of 34-7. Drew Brees is one of the best quarterbacks in the league, and past history has shown that playoff rematches like this generally favor the team that lost the regular season contest. I will definitely be pulling for Brees and company to pull the upset.

The Packers and Niners will square off in frigid temperatures today, as it is expected to drop below zero by kickoff. I picked Green Bay to advance to the Super Bowl, and I expect them to start their playoff run with a win over San Francisco.
