New England Patriots vs. Buffalo Bills Inactives: Nate Solder In, Devin McCourty Out

We are roughly 80 minutes away from kickoff in Foxboro, which means the inactive lists from both teams have been released. There aren’t any surprises for the New England Patriots, as safety Devin McCourty headlines the list of inactive players, as was expected.

Left tackle Nate Solder will be back on the field today, after he missed last week’s contest in Baltimore. Solder has been dealing with some concussion issues as of late, and it will be good to see him back out on the field, as the Pats prepare to face one of the best pass rushing defenses in the NFL. Rookie wideout Kenbrell Thompkins is active for the first time in three weeks, and running back Shane Vereen will also be available, after injuring his groin last week against the Ravens. Cornerback Alfonzo Dennard will not be on the field today for New England, as he continues to deal with a lingering knee and shoulder problem. I think that if the playoffs started today, Dennard would be active for the Pats, but since they are just playing for a first round bye, resting him won’t cost New England too much.
