Nate Solder Returns To Practice, Josh Boyce Still Out

Dec 15, 2013; Miami Gardens, FL, USA: New England Patriots tight end Michael Hoomanawanui (47) is congratulated on his touchdown pass against the Miami Dolphins by wide receiver Danny Amendola (back) and New wide receiver Josh Boyce (82) in the second quarter at Sun Life Stadium. Left tackle Nate Solder returned to practice today, after suffering his second concussion in two weeks. Solder has bounced back from these head injuries surprisingly well, and his return to the field is a welcome sight for Pats fans.

Rookie wide receiver Josh Boyce was absent for the second consecutive practice, as he continues to deal with an ankle injury he suffered last week in Miami. Boyce may end up missing this week’s contest against the Ravens, but hopefully his fellow rookie wideouts Aaron Dobson, and Kenbrell Thompkins will be able to play. The Patriots struggled to score touchdowns last week, because of a lack size in the end zone, and doing that against this Baltimore team will definitely result in a loss. Rob Gronkowski suffered a season ending knee injury two weeks ago against Cleveland, which left a bunch of short dudes for Brady to throw to in the red zone. Hopefully these two taller guys will be able to play on Sunday, as that would increase their chances of being productive inside the 20 yard line, by a lot.

Here is the full report.
