Things really did not start well for the Bills as just the second play of the game, Bucs running back Bobby Rainey took an 80 yard run to the house to put the Bucs up 7-0 almost instantly. After the Bills punted, and then stopped the Bucs on a three and out, they drove the ball downfield, but stalled and were forced to settle for a 40 yard Dan Carpenter field goal, making it 7-3. The Bills defense once again struggled on the Bucs next drive, as they let the Bucs drive 80 yards on nine plays, ending with a 38 yard strike from Mike Glennon to Vincent Jackson, to put the Bills in an early 14-3 hole to end the first quarter.

While the first quarter was full of big plays, and solid football, the second quarter was the polar opposite, as the Bills started things off with EJ Manuel throwing an interception to Lavonte David. But the Bucs managed to give it right back as Mike Glennon threw an interception to Jairus Byrd to give the Bills the ball back. The Bills were not to be outdone, as EJ Manuel threw his second interception of the game to Jonathan Banks, and third straight possession of this game with an interception. This followed up, miraculously with a field goal by kicker Ryan Lindell from 53 yards out, making it 17-3 for the Bucs. The ugly football continued with a punt by the Bills, followed by ANOTHER interception from Glennon, this one from Stephen Gilmore deep in Bills territory. Despite this, the Bucs ended the half well, with Mike Glennon throwing his second touchdown of the half, this time to Timothy Wright, making it 24-3 entering the third quarter.

The third quarter was not as eventful as the first two, but it did feature a few more turnovers, both by the Bills. Things started innocent enough, with a 46 yard field goal to make thing 24-6, but were followed not only by an interception by Mason Foster, and then another interception by Lavonte David. That was followed by a 32 yard field goal by Lindell to end the third quarter, with the score 27-6 Buccaneers.

The fourth quarter was a dull affair with nothing but punts, the Bills punting four times and gaining only 19 yards, and the Bucs punting three times with only 13 yards. Final score, 27-6 Buccaneers, dropping the Bills to 4-9 on the season.
