Hello and welcome to another edition on The Patriot Way. With the last weekday before the Patriots take on the Browns, I present to you links and news about the Patriots from around the web:
-NFL.com has a breakdown on cornerback Alfonzo Dennard’s legal status here. Looks like Mr Dennard will be able to play for the Patriots if his knee is healthy.
– The Patriots re-signed wide receiver Austin Collie in a move that speaks more about the health of Aaron Dobson (foot) and Kenbrell Thompkins (hip) more than it does about Collie’s health.
-In injury news, Brandon Spikes has returned to practice, though Dobson and Marcus Cannon are still out. Looks like we have another week of Will Svitek starting at RT. To check out the full practice report for both teams, head to the Patriots website here.
-Bleacher Report has a good piece on how the Patriots have replaced the departed pieces of their offense.
-From the Cleveland side, Jason Campbell has been cleared to practice increasing the potential of playing against the Patriots Sunday.
-The Browns website discusses how to defend Brady and what makes him so good. Ex-Patriot Je’Rod Cherry adds his perspective, as does Fred Smerlas
