New England Patriots vs Miami Dolphins: Inactive Lists Released

The Patriots and Dolphins are roughly 80 minutes away from kickoff, meaning we now know who will play, and who will not.

For the Patriots, there aren’t any surprises, as the only two real “questionable” players, were Aqib Talib and Danny Amendola. It was reported last night by Albert Breer of NFL.com, that Talib would not be active today, while Amendola would make a return to the field. This held true, as Talib is listed as ‘inactive’, and Amendola is not.

Andre Carter, the veteran defensive end, was signed by New England earlier in the week, and he will make his 2013 debut in this game, as he is active for the Pats. I am not sure how much he will play, as the Patriots are stacked at defensive end, but his veteran presence on that defensive unit will help them, as we move forward into the late stages of the regular season.

One other key nugget to take away from this list, is Josh Boyce is inactive once again, largely due to the play of newcomer Austin Collie. I expect Collie to get a number of snaps versus Miami, just as he has done in the previous two contests.
