The injury bug has been a menace so far in early 2013 for the New England Patriots. This week we can add starting running back Stevan Ridley to the list of players who will miss a game this season due to injury. The 5 back backfield of Ridley, Vereen, Washington, Blount, and Bolden is now down to the latter two. Rob Gronkowski and Danny Amendola are very likely out once again this week, and this week is the first week the Patriots have had to prepare with out Vince Wilfork.

Let’s hope this rash of injuries ceases and the silver lining is that we are stronger towards the end of the season as those who are not on IR make full recoveries. In the mean time, the Patriots must face a tough Cincinnati Bengals team this week that is coming off a loss. It’ll be a challenge for the Patriots to remain focused, productive, and execute a sound game plan with a depleted roster. Or at least that is what Las Vegas believes as they Patriots are a 1 point underdog as of yesterday (Friday).

I believe the Patriots will find a way to score close to 30 points, and thus go to 5 – 0.

Is your coffee hot?  It’s time to get caught up on The Patriot Way.
