 Prediction

I think this is going to be a high-scoring game with how fast these two offenses work, and the Buffalo Bills are going to have some success on the ground and through the air when they get it to Stevie Johnson and C.J. Spiller. But the Patriots defense simply has a much better back seven than the Bills, and they will do a better job at stopping the Bills offense. Not only that, but Tom Brady is significantly better than E.J. Manuel, who is a wild card in his first regular season game. I don’t think Manuel will embarrass himself, but Brady is, well, Brady. The Patriots also have a better offensive line and a couple of more weapons than the Bills. There is not much doubt in my mind that the Patriots will win this game, but it won’t be a total blowout. I expect the Bills to give the Patriots a scare in the first half by keeping it close, but the Pats will start to pull away in the thick of the third quarter.

Final Score: New England Patriots 37, Buffalo Bills 24
