Danny Amendola limited but is fine

New England Patriots No. 1 wide receiver Danny Amendola was listed as a limited participant at practice yesterday, and the former St. Louis Rams wideout was also limited today. Amendola is currently suffering from a very minor groin issue, but he is definitely a lock to play on Sunday against the Buffalo Bills and has reportedly shown no negative signs.

Will Svitek was the only player to miss practice today, and it looks like the Patriots will be without him against the Buffalo Bills. He has not practiced for the entire week, and he is sporting a right knee brace. Svitek’s absence means that the Patriots will be without their top backup option at tackle, and Svitek also has the versatility to play at guard (though not particularly well).

Danny Amendola said himself that he is fine, and the quote below will give you a glimpse at just how tough and determined he is. While this injury is essentially nothing, I found Amendola’s word choice to be striking and, if I do say so, pretty awesome. Via ESPN Boston, “I’m sick of talking about it, I just want to go play, to be honest with you. I’m excited about getting out there. I’m just ready to go.”

I would be surprised if Amendola didn’t have a huge game against a Bills secondary that is hobbled, and I think he will hit ten receptions on Sunday.
