New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez has still not been ruled out as a suspect in the murder of 27-year-old semi-pro football player Odin Lloyd, and it’s starting to seem like Hernandez is indeed a suspect now in the murder. A rental car in his name was seen at the seen of the crime, Lloyd’s body was left a mile from his house, Lloyd was dating the sister of Hernandez’s girlfriend, and Hernandez and Lloyd were reportedly together in a bar. Now, the Boston Globe reports that video images from Monday morning “appear to show” Odin Lloyd and Aaron Hernandez together on Fayston Street.
This just the latest layer in an investigation that will continue to pile up on layers on information, as this investigations is fluid and extremely active. Hernandez still hasn’t been named a suspect in the case, though, and it sounds like investigators want to hold off on going full-speed ahead on Hernandez.
Another video shows Aaron Hernandez in North Attleboro, and it is obvious that Hernandez and Lloyd knew each other and now it is obvious that they were together that day. The origin of both videos is unknown, per the Globe, and below is a statement from a law enforcement official to the Globe.
“He was killed where they found the body. He was shot multiple times.”
FOX Sports reports that Hernandez had a perfect psych test coming out of college, and it’s best to hold off on calling the Patriots stupid for drafting Hernandez. Even if he did murder Lloyd or was an accomplice, the Patriots had no way of seeing this coming; no team would have, really.
