Aaron Hernandez will likely be arrested for Odin Lloyd murder

A report earlier today stated that New England Patriots star tight end Aaron Hernandez will be arrested today “in connection” with the murder of semi-pro football player Odin Lloyd, and Sports Illustrated now reports state that Aaron Hernandez “will likely” be arrested for the Odin Lloyd murder. The report is sourced by SI’s Pete Thamel and Greg Bedard, who used to be the Patriots beat writer for the Boston Globe.

Hernandez’s pending arrest is now being reported by two reliable sources in SI and the Globe, and the earlier reports add up. Hernandez and three other men (one was the victim Odin Lloyd and the other two unidentified but reportedly in custody) drove out of a bar, and everyone but Lloyd returned to Hernandez’s house. We know through text messages that this happened and that Hernandez and Lloyd know each other, and we also know that Lloyd was dating the sister of Aaron Hernandez’s girlfriend.

SI reports that authorities don’t know what they will charge Hernandez with, but it sounds like they think he is an accomplice, with the proximity of the body to Hernandez’s house and the fact that reportedly two rental cars involved were registered in his name both likely being sealing factors. They believe Aaron Hernandez has a “significant enough” involvement in the case, and the source told SI that the arrest is “likely”.

Aaron Hernandez is currently being chased by the media in a somewhat comical running video of him driving.

Haha, I like Cumberland, but I would still take Ballard and Hooman over Winslow and Cumberland. Has Winslow looked healthy for you guys?
