Aaron Hernandez directly tied to homicide?

The news on New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez is heading towards a downward spiral, but most of the reports on Wednesday maintained that Hernandez still isn’t a suspect. The details of this case are coming out faster than ever, and it is sometimes difficult to put them into context. But the most recent reports from FOX 25 Boston paint a picture of direct involvement for Hernandez, and FOX 25 reports that a law enforcement official stated that Hernandez “appears” to be directly tied to the murder.

In fact, Aaron Hernandez is said to be an associated of the victim, Odin Lloyd, because Lloyd mentioned Hernandez in a text to a friend. More importantly, Hernandez was the driver a car that had two unknown men and Lloyd inside, as all four of them went to a bar together and left in that car together. Police are still looking for a second rental car in Hernandez’s name, but they do know that forensic evidence places Hernandez’s car at one of the crime scenes, per a source close to FOX 25. However, the location of this crime scene was not revealed.

There is an awful lot at play here, and Aaron Hernandez is definitely innocent until proven guilty. However, I am starting to believe in Hernandez’s innocence less and less with each report, and another source close to FOX 25 stated that only Lloyd did not return to Hernandez’s home of the four men in the car. I believe the two unidentified men are in custody, based on an earlier report.

Let’s hold off on jumping on conclusions, though, and wait for further details.
