Aaron Hernandez, Odin Lloyd linking evidence to come?

New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez is definitely innocent until proven guilty, and I still doubt that he murdered semi-pro Boston football player Odin Lloyd. However, recent developments cast a bleak picture on Hernandez’s innocence, with one of the biggest caveats being that Hernandez’s girlfriend’s sister had a relationship with a victim. The fact that a rental car in Hernandez’s name was used makes this look like a very bad situation indeed for the New England Patriots star tight end, and investigators have a search warrant for the Enterprise rental car involved.

WCVB Boston’s Kathy Curran reports that, per sources, there is “possible” evidence involved that could link Aaron Hernandez to Odin Lloyd “in the hours before the murder”. However, Curran also tells us that the investigation is “very active”, and she wisely cautions us not to make assumptions on the information that is developing in this ongoing investigation.

The North Attleboro police are scouring through cellphone records in the effort to ascertain the facts, and it sounds like the investigation is indeed fierce. They are also looking at surveillance video and processing the car, so it sounds like we should know more within the next couple of hours. We may even have evidence on Aaron Hernandez or stuff that leads the case away from Hernandez and onto somebody else.
