Julian Edelman Re-injuries Right Foot

This is a bit of bad news, as Edelman has to miss some more time as he’s re-injured his right foot again. This definitely is bad news for Edelman who was looking forward to getting back onto the field. He sure is going to have a little setback as he’s forced to miss OTA’s. Edelman is currently in a walking boot due to the re-injured right foot. It was a break in his right foot that led to him to being placed on injured reserve back in December. He had 21 receptions, 235 yards, and 3 TD’s last season before the injury. When healthy, he’s proved that he’s effective on special teams. The New England Patriots now have depth on special teams, as they have two legitimate punt returners in Julian Edelman and Leon Washington.

He was a free agent this off-season  but agreed to a one-year deal with the Patriots last month. He’s the only receiver currently on the roster who caught a pass from quarterback Tom Brady last season.

Luckily for Edelman he shouldn’t miss too much time and may even get to participate in the Patriots mini-camp in June.

It’s never good to hear this kind of stuff, but someone who will get more reps is T.J. Moe. Patriots fans who want to see him make an impact in the future, will be happy to hear that he’ll surely take advantage of this opportunity.

I’ll be sure to keep you up to date on how Edelman progresses.
