Oh, yes this would be great news for New England Patriots fans. News about John Abraham has been quiet for quite some time, which is a bit upsetting for some fans who want an answer. This just came up from Mike Loyko who’s done a great job of covering the draft and all the off-season news.

By the way.. I was told today “New England is likely to land John Abraham” they hope to finish a deal in next couple weeks

With Shaun Phillips head to Denver.. the #Patriots are the front-runners to sign John Abraham.. sides still working on deal.

This is very good news, but I’ll wait before it comes official before getting excited about. Unfortunately, Patriots fans are going to have to wait a little longer before getting a solution on this.

The New England Patriots needed to address their pass rush this off-season and if this comes true. John Abraham is definitely going to help solve the problem for this football team, but the most important part of them improving the pass rush is the progress of Chandler Jones. If healthy, Jones has shown he can be a good player but he needs to improve over this summer. Every year people rave about their draft picks, but the 2nd season is where players break out and make the big impact.

We will be sure to keep you updated if we hear any more news regarding the Patriots and John Abraham.
